Books Are Our Business. The Rest of It Is Too.

Since 2024, SDR Solutions has been a family-run effort to do one simple thing: keep physical history from disappearing. And now, headlines about AI companies scanning — and in some cases destroying — the original books they digitize have made it painfully clear what's at stake when physical media stops being valued. A digital file can be deleted, revoked, or lost to a shuttered platform. A book on a shelf, a record in a sleeve, a coin in a case — those last.

We started this to help our own community first: older neighbors and family members sitting on decades of books, coins, comics, and records they can't part with alone, and don't have anywhere to turn. We show up, we clear the space, and — just as important — we make sure what's worth keeping finds someone who will actually cherish it, not a landfill. Every item we take gets a second chance at a shelf where it belongs, indefinitely.

This isn't a warehouse operation. It's Rich and Sobe, a husband-and-wife team, doing this work by hand — one pickup, one box, one family at a time.
